no frt yet ?
i mean if they make it restricted its pointless for a shotgun ?
me really want one but im anxious about this
They cant make it restricted since its obviously not an AR variant. They can only make it prohibited if the think it can ve easily converted to full auto.

I don't think its the case so it can only be NR
Correct. If its not "easy to convert to full auto" then its classification is not prohibited and its up to the barrel length to decide whether it restricted or non-restricted.
Lol. They can do whatever the hell they please. They classified a .22lr semi as prohibited because it resembles (loosely) an ak47 in appearance (the Mossberg blaze 47). Logic need not apply with Canadian firearms classifications.
Like Scotty454 said: They can do whatever they please. They can declare it prohib because it is easily converted and do not have to release to you what they did to make it happen. The fact that it make take 200 man hours with specialty tools to make it happen is irrelevant: if they deem it easy enough then that's it. The RCMP FRT lab just did the exact thing with another firearm I am currently awaiting the legal battle to resolve. They said its "easily converted" despite both the FBI and the BATF say there is no way to make it full auto. THE FRT guys are revelling in this because we have minimal recourse and they are no longer held accountable by govt. They have been given free reign by Goodale and they know it.

and i'm putting in for a refund...
Beat you to it.....
do i have to be able to get a hold of them on the phone or did you manage to do it online?
as it turns out they are incredibly hard to get a hold of on the phone.
