After 40 years and over 1 million 3 series of Beretta semi autos, there is a new one out in Europe: The Urika 2!
They claim 50% reductoin in maintenance (as if it ever needed any!
)! 40% better functionability (big word) It already works with 2 1/2 dram training loads and Max stel loads. Anyways, for any of you that can read Italian, here is the future:

Notice the redesigned piston! It does not rotate!
They kept this under wraps during my visit in June! There were NO target guns in production with the new setup in view during my visit of the facilities. I would surmise that the target Urika 2 will only be shown at the 2007 SHOT Show or the Wholesale show in November.
