VZ 2008s have been available in the US for a while now. That price is a ripoff though, they typically go for ~$500 in the US. I realize there's always a markup on guns coming in to the country, but $400 is ridiculous.

Looks like Century Arms "assembled by drunken monkeys" VZ2008 may find its way here.
In all honesty, many US customers are very happy with them. Of all the Century-built guns, they seem to be one of the better ones.

John called the new version of the CZ 858 that they're working on the CZ 958, not 859.
What is this new version?
Still barely out of the planning stages, gotta be built and shipped to the firearms lab to make sure it won't randomly kill puppies. Then they'll tool up the plant and send us a batch on the slow boat. Don't expect to see them anytime soon. According to Wolverine it will be a modernized 58 in some way, shape or form.

So possibly a 805 bren?
Pretty sure if it was the Bren they would tell us, the hype surrounding another potential NR black rifle alone would be huge. But oh I do dearly want me one of them... Will CZ be producing semi-auto CZ805s any time soon? Does anyone know?

I believe they kiboshed that idea over on the Wolverine forum, but I could be mistaken....
Not too many other details were brought up, we'll just have to wait for further developments I guess.
