New Version Ruger 10/22... Head's Up

Nice looking wood for sure, FS is not my cup of tea usually but I can say I would have likely picked up one of these if I didn't have another 10/22 in mind. (any one have a whistle pig barrel they want to get rid of?)

Most Mannlicher style stocks have the center portion of the forend "hogged out" to relieve the barrel, and then then last 1.5" or so at the muzzle are pressure bedded with the end cap securing the barrel to the stock... in my experience this does not adversely affect accuracy, in fact a couple of my most accurate rifles have been full stock rifles. On an individual basis it might affect the accuracy, just as any stock can ... of my three dozen or so fullstock rifles, only two required accurizing that may have been attributable to the forend... and these were dealt with in the same way that I would a regular stock.

Very nice full stock rifle; looking forwards to seeing some 50 yd targets once you get it set up.

Nope. Your right. Im sure pics dont do the wood justice.
But its still no CZ. Is it.

No... it is not a CZ... I have a rack of 452's and they are nice... but comparing this to a CZ is like comparing apples and oranges... CZ bolt actions are great for what they bring to the table and Ruger 10/22 semi's are great for what they bring to the table... and they are not bringing the same things. This Ruger 10/22 is a particularly nice version. To date, no manufacture has or likely will come up with a better magazine design than the Ruger rotary mag and it's spin-offs.
