New vortex scope for 2026

Been looking for a new scope for my tikka t1x 22 with a low parallel setting.

Vortex just came out with the Crossfire HD
I read the new Hd models are clearer than the Blackdiamond models that are not HD. Interesting.

Anyone have the 4-12x44 cross firer Hd. Parallax goes down to 15 yards !
How do you like it ?

I actually have a 3-9 Crossfire HD on order from Bass Pro right now. Needed a decent scope for a backup/loaner .308 I recently bought, but don’t want to shell out for another VX-3HD. Did a bunch or research on the new Crossfire HD and figured they seem pretty solid for the value.

I think you’re right about the Diamondback line. Besides some of the features you get in the Diamondback Tactical scope, the Crossfire HD seems like I might/should replace the more hunting oriented Diamondback scopes.

At $324 out the door, I figured even if I decide I want something better for my .308, it should still make a great scope for my .22
