While the strike eagle lpvo is a great scope for the $$$ I think the viper pst gen ii 1-6 is a better bang for your buck. Now if only someone will have a sale so I can order another... Tired of waiting but 2 cheap to pay full price ;-)

Vortex will NEVER be on sale... they have manufacturer min pricing for the last year or more which basically eliminates the possibility of any kind of sale. You will be waiting for a long time... unless you find on the EE but people want 130% of retail there

Guess the last 15 I have bought were "Special" I have 15k+ of Vortex optics, ALL were bought on some form of sale/promo.

Essentially the same or better features as the PST 2 ( More elevation adjustment with the 34 mm tube if I recall) except for the glass quality is lower and the 0 stop is different/reduces the available elevation.

Cool. The weight isn’t that bad for a 34mm x56 scope at about 30 ounces. Sounds like the glass and tracking is good.

I just bought a 1-8 on sale for 520. Must’ve been because the new ones are coming out.

Feel like I got ripped off now, paid $599 on the old model this week from another dealer, then another $100 for a throw lever which is now a thread in lever on the new models.
