New Vs. Old Strikefire/Sparc?

This question is mainly for any vendors who are Vortex distributors.

I see there is a Gen II SPARC and Strikefire. I'm just wondering what the differences are from the old models? There doesn't seem to be a lot of literature citing what the updates are but from what I can tell it seems like a change to the controls on the side, better coating on glass and different mounting set ups. Is there anything else worth noting? In the market for one, I'm leaning towards the Strikefire with the cantilever mount just because the SPARC seems to have a kind of narrow FOV.

They also come with flip up caps instead of a rubber bikini.
The narrow field of view is not a factor when you shoot with both eyes open.

The sparc 2 now uses cr2032 battery and the new gen no longer have the on/off on the side.
