"Appeals to Home Defense Enthusiasts." I guess that's anyone that actually thinks about protecting their home and family?

Silly marketing aside, that 6+1 is ###y. And I already have 6+1 18.5" 870, but it's wearing synthetic furniture.

I like it... and a good price

I wouldn't mind putting that wood furniture on my 6+1 Marine Mag 870.

Can't say I've ever seen wood on a silver Marine Mag. Have to reserve judgement on how that would look until I see it, could be interesting.

I'm assuming this is an Express model?

It does mention replacing the synthetic stock parts with wood which leads me to that conclusion....

I have an Express I bought in the early 1990's that looks similar.

If this has a better finish quality than the Express typically has, I'd pick one up to put one of my new 14" barrels on.

My assumption as well... base model with wood on it. Don't see this as anything overly special but Remington giving another choice for their base model.

Mossberg 500 Persuader is about the same price and is 7+1, old wood is easy to find too.

It looks like Remington is trying to play catch up with all the Turkish companies now. For that price it looks like a decent gun and it falls around the range of some of the higher end Turkish guns, but with the 870 model name behind it. I'd consider buying one.

That has the Express shaped forend, which means it won't work with a Sidesaddle. Which means most will have to take them off. Sigh.

Too bad as it looks like nice walnut.
