Good Day all:

New member from BC, residing in the Lower mainland. Member of Mission Rod and Gun Club, and I have been a shooting enthusiast for over 50 years. Currently interested in purchasing my first handgun, as I have recently acquired my restricted status. Thinking I will start will a Ruger 22LR pistol, but am also interested in Cowboy action shooting.............Looking forward to this forum.

Im a newbie here myself. Cowboy shooting is really fun; In the Gun Club I belong to we had a cowboy shooting BBQ where you can come in and try out cowboy shooting using two revolvers, a rifle and a shotgun. Quite good fun

Welcome....I am a newbie also. My first gun is a Browning Buckmark Camper .22LR solid and simple. Have shot 1100 rounds so far and am starting to hit where I aim. .22LR is a good choice to start as it is cheap at about $25.00 per 500 rounds. Have fun.....

Welcome to the site. My first handgun was a Ruger 22 LR., Had a bull barrel with target sights. After shooting with a hunting rifle for many years, I found that the sights were too thick to see the target little lone hitting the bullseye.
