New Winchester Ranger lever action 22 LR with pics

I looks quite a bit like a model 94.... classic! Too bad they didn't make a 16" trapper as well as the 20". Are you finding it a bit short with the 13 inch lop?
The length of pull feels great, I have a browning BL22 and its the regular model(not micro) and its length of pull is 13.5, can really tell the difference

I’m sure that Winchester has a pretty strict QC that needs to me met regardless where it’s made
Both the savage and Winchester look really good
I have an orig 94/22 and I like it a lot

Thanks for the info about the recall on the early models Thunderhog. I'll have to call and see if mine needs to be sent back. I ended up selling my Revel dlx after shooting the Ranger. I grew up shooting a bl-22 and couldn't get over the long throw of the lever on the Revel. Been impressed with my Turkchester so far. Been shooting a KYL rack at 30m off hand as of late with it and no problem hitting the .25" target if i do my part. Just at that age where my eyes aren't what they use to be. Seems to eat any 22lr I feed it. Stingers, yellow jackets, cci round nose, cci segmented, cci mini mags, federal bulk. At some point I will mount a scope and see its accuracy and ammo choice. Super fun little plinker for the money. It's a pretty nice knockoff of the 94/22 but still doesn't have that quality feel you get from the original 94/22. My 94/22m is a bit rough but still shoots great. IMG_6697.jpeg

I got lucky when I found mine it was sitting on the shelf at the local gun shop on consignment
It’s the straight lever one too which I like better

It's nice to see a well priced quality modern option. The 9422 is a classic gun and if you see a nice one less then $1500 it's still a good buy... even a bit of a beater for under a grand would be worth it.

This Turkchester looks like a great gun to get now and take the pressure off waiting for a deal on a used 9422.

A nice low peep sight on the dovetail and a small fiber optic bead up front and these would make super fun Can busters!

Line em up and knock them down....

Reactive plinking with .22lr's is probably my favourite shooting activity and a great way to introduce new shooters to the joys of shooting.

When I signed up here at CGN, It was right after coming back home from a session of plinkin cans..... hence Can-down!

:)
