New Winchester SXP barrel???

Hey guys,

a friend of mine recently purchased a new Winchester SXP or the speed pump or whatever it's called.

the slide is definitely faster than my 870 and the SXP slides just opens as soon as the shot is fired off allowing faster loading and chamber.

the down side is that I can't find a DEFENDER size barrel or the 20" - less length barrel.

Anyone can shed some light on this?

They Sell it now as a 2 barrel kit. Find someone who just wants the 28" barrel and offer to buy it from them for the difference between costs of the gun without it?

I've been trying to find the combo package myself. 18.5" and 28" or 26". Uses Invector Plus chokes so it goes nicely with my Brownings. I don't know if you can order the barrel separately but a call or e-mail to Winchester should put you in touch with someone on this side of the border who could order you one, I'm sure.

Do barrels and stocks from the Win 1200 and 1300 fit these guns?

No the 12 and 1300 do not interchange I would presume.

Um there are shops all over ontario that list the combo in their inventory.

The barrels are not cheap. Would be better off to just buy a new shotgun. My defender was 300 and the other sxp was 399 both from wholesale sports. Was told that a new barrel would be ~$500

Does anybody have Contact info for Winchester here in Canada. I'd like to get the 28 inch barrel for my SXP defender also.

I know 1st hand a new barrel for a winchester superx2 in black matt with one choke tube is 559 with shipping. I had to buy one. All winchester shotgun barrels are impossible to find used and very expensive new

No new barrels are going to be made for at least 6 month, when they catch up with the back order they will start production again that's what the guy at my authorize Winchester repair shop said

Is anyone interested in buying the long barrel SXP 26" or 28"?
If you guys want to get the combo pack with the Defender 18" barrel, I'll pay the difference for the Defender barrel + shipping if necessary.

Its a great gun. Feeds anything I want. Shoots great. Pump is super fast. There is nothing bad I can say about it. I like them so much in fact I have 2 lol. One in defender 18.5 " and one in 28"
