I just oiled my new AR-15 and it's ready to go to the range. Windham Weaponry CSR with flip up iron sights. I've never stripped an AR before and I was impressed with workmanship. The M-16 bolt carrier group, carbon fiber upper and lower receivers, and high quality barrel all felt good.

Now I just need to see how the sights do or else I'm going to have learn how to zero them. They're pretty much standard flip up aluminum sites, because the foresight is on a rail on the gas block.

I also just got a Windham Carbon and love it! It feels great and runs flawlessly. So far I put about 100 rounds through it. It's my first AR so I don't have anything to compare to.

I there a Bushnell TRS-25 on it. Also just installed a new handguard. Stock, charging handle vertical grip to follow.

I was really impressed by the lack of recoil on this light rifle.

I just got my 14.5" Windham MPC not too long ago and I've put 99 rounds through it (dropped one and it was lost forever). No hiccups. Only thing I was kind of pissed about was that it came with a 5 round short mag and not a 5/30.

I also got the SRC from the big grand opening sale.. Its also my first AR too!

Cant wait to get her out to the range. Im also excited to follow you guys and see what kind of mods etc you do. Keep us posted!

I got some LAR-15 pistol mags but they're still short. I will go by my LGS to pick up some bulk .223 and try to keep the costs down.

The Windam AR is a great gun at a good price, mine has been flawless for over two years. And I agree, strip one down and you will see that the quality goes deep.
