I don't have mine yet I've been away and just got back home from Alberta late last night so had Wolverine wait till last Wednesday to ship mine it should be here sometime this week.

One morning last week I surprised 4 coyotes 2 were appr 150 yards to my left and the other 2 were the same distance but to my right and running as fast as they could from me by the time I spotted them, I sure was wishing that I had my XCR and a 10 round LAR mag with me instead of my bolt action Sako 85 Grey Wolf in 22-250 that would definitely have been awesome... :D

and yes I missed with the 2 shots that I took...

Well it arrived, as stated earlier I headed out to Florida and was afraid it would arrive and I would not be in a position to pick it up from the post office.

I called Wolverine and asked if they would send it later in the week, they did, what a class act.

I arrived home today, checked, and yes there it was, the little notice the Post office leaves, went picked it up and home it goes.

have spent the last couple of hours reading the supplied material and examining the firearm.

I am impressed!!, I have a number of black rifles, this one seems to be built well.

Can't wait to take it out and put it thru it's paces.

To those that have received and tested theirs, all good so far, any tips or advice first time out with the XCR.........thx.......smitty223

Smitty: congrats ! When you go out take your set of Allen keys with you. You'll need them to adjust sight mounts, etc., and after a couple hundred rounds it's not a bad a idea to snug up any bolts you see. Have fun.

thanks in advance, have a small tool kit on board, should do nicely.

Question: did you or anyone else order up the stock converter,(for a telescoping butt-stock), and if so did you receive yours, apparently back-ordered.........just wondering?????????????.

I got my NEA stock conversion from Wolverine a couple of months ago, along with a 7.62x39 barrel conversion and a MagPul PRS stock. Spent waaay too much money, but sure looks nice.

Mine arrived yesterday morning got out to the range and put 68 rounds thru it without a hitch...

Very happy so far... :D

Do you mean 7.39? I did not think the 7.62 was out yet.

I don't feel like screwing with the barrel bolt and stuff. I don't care if it would cost more. Just slapping a different upper is easier for me and I don't even have to worry about optics then just keep the zeroed optic I use for each on each upper.

XCR upper. Mainly so I don't have to rezero optics just keep the optic on the rail of each upper. And secondly so I don't have to play with the barrel bolt. I think its kinda sketchy anyways.
