Like to think it was from the factory. But what man doesn't better then the alternative.

Just keep telling yourself that some skills are natural, not learned.

As for the actual thread topic, I can't see any test fire being responsible for a filthy gun. What do they fire, 1 to 5 rounds? Filthy afterwards? I think not. (unless you fire remington thunderbolt .22lr, two rounds should dirty up a new gun)
