New XCR pics

Just put together my new XCR L ,Stock ,sights ect .I would like some opinions.LMT sights RRA tactical entry butt from Brownells,Picked up an AR2 muzzle need to install it.And I just need a front sling swivel that will clamp onto my rail.Whatchya think?Dave

I like the shape but the grey colour of the NEA stock adapter looks horrible with the OD green rifle/black furniture.

Good stuff Dave. I have the FAS stock on mine and every time I see one with the adapter and an A2 I contemplate changing mine - it looks solid with that stock.

EDIT - I have the same color XCR too. I would think about getting the adapter coated to match the green or black.

One of the more unusual XCRs i've seen for sure! I like the sight setup for sure. And I can see the fixed stock being functional and comfortable.

I'd trade the grip though for something like the MIAD with the full backstrap. Just a meatier grip for a meatier gun.

Im going to have the adaptor painted black to match the stock.Oiled the stock a bit and its nice and black.Thanks for the input.The LOP is actually nice for me too.Anyone with an A2 can you measure your buttplate for me.Im wondering if I can put an A2 trapdoor on it to stow some patches and my boresnake.Dave

Now THAT is a good idea for that NEA adapter

Gives it the FAL kinda shape with that step-drop.

Personally, I would get some Krylon ultra-flat OD paint and paint the buttstock green, and then paint the block adapter black, would give it a really nice look with some break up.

But all I would consider doing is get a nice big open red-dot on that thing that you can use a lower 3rd co-witness with, and shoot irons and red-dot.

I'd say even with the fast stock available, that's one of the nicest looking XCR's I've seen

If you had explained which stock you had put on, I would have gagged. But seeing that pic, I have to say that that is a very ###y looking rifle.

What irons are those? They look air-softish...

Hell no there LMT L8FS and LMT L8A sights from Questar.Its a Range/Windage adjustable rear just like an M4/A2 sight.And an AR front post.Im looking for a front sling swivel that clamps on to the rail.Thanks for the input gents.
