New Zealand imports

I know its virtually imposable to import firearms or ammunition from the US-but what about New Zealand?same restrictions?[meaning forget it]

Importing firearms and ammo from the States isn't impossible. It's just paperwork heavy.
To import from NZ, you'd have to look into New Zealand's export rules. If there are any. Shipping costs will likely be high as well. In any case, there's virtually nothing in NZ you can't get here.

DFAIT controls import into Canada, along with the CFC, depending on the nature of the goods.
You could contact the office of the trade or commercial attache at the New Zealand High Commission in Ottawa, or do a web search, and find a large dealer in NZ and ask them.
Ammunition would likely not be something you would consider. What would be available there that isn't here? Shipping could be a real issue.

Besides of course legal non restricted AK's, Siagas, Tigr, and Dragonovs.
