Names Jason, had my firearms licencse for about 5 months. wife bought me remington r-15 for my birthday. heckava woman. no scope, havent even shot it yet. i also put money down on the Norinco type 97 and am eagerly awaiting some good news.
 
Welcome Jasonn...I'm a newbie as well and also waiting hopefully for a positive resolution to the T97 issue. Have you looked at Jay's letter? He makes some great points. Copied it, made up a short handwrititen note to include and sent it to my local MP. I didn't bother sending to the PM as it seems everything is being forwarded to Peter Van Loan anyway.
