seems like savage, browning and remington have some thing close to what I expect.

1. savage 10FLP, 16FLSS, 11FL all in 308

2. browning stainless stalker looks nice, 308 only avaliable in right hand!!!!!!! DAMN, why!

3. remington VSF, sounds not bad, but that white/yellow stock does not look that good to me.

so, is bronwing going to come out with left hand stainless stalker in 308?

savage does have something I want now, todbartell said browning has better finish, so, how bad is savage's finish?

currnetly if you insist on a left hand 308 in synthetic ,you will have to go with a savage in 308, or learn to shoot a right hand bolt and get any rifle you want , the only other option is a custom gun or rebarrel an existing left hand rifle, most of the factory left hand guns are in long action, the only other factory left hand in 308 is the browning micro hunter which is available
 
You didn't specify if you want irons or not, or it just deosn't matter.
I think that a Sako or Tikka would fit the bill nicely.

I don't know what you think about the CZ.
The light weight makes perfect out of a nice Tikka LH. The Hunter model that is. This is away from Remington-Savage lobby, but... we all have our tastes.
 
The Browning may have a better overall finish, but the Savage is half the price, and still a good gun, plus more $$ for optics :) . Go for the lefty if it's more comfortable to shoot. I have a couple .308's, one bolt and one pump, I enjoy shooting both.
