Well today I went out and did it. Checked out all the AR's at Firearms Outlet in Ajax, ONT. Checked out the Daniel Defense as well as others. After playing around with them, I declined on the Daniel Defense because I didn't like the "flex" between the barrel rail system and the receiver. I tried pretty much all the DD including the pro models and some "flexed" more than others. For something in the $2500 range it was just not acceptable IMO opinion. So the long and short ended up with Colt MRR. Supporting Canadian built because we all damn know we build very little anymore! Thanks again for the help. NOW 3 week wait begins for ffs.

Good choice. I've put mine through some pretty hard use in all kinds of weather and it has never let me down. What barrel length did you end up going with?
