Newbie frm BC goin to Ont

Hey Guys!

I am new to this forum. I have recently acqured a PAL and have sent in my papers for a restricted. I dont own any boomsticks as of now. Even though I dont own any guns, I've shot a couple, Walther P99, Sig P225(?), some shotgun at the hamilton gun club and mmmm... tht's abt it.
Right now I am finishin up univ. in BC and will be back in Ontario/Mississauga this May. Cant wait to head out into the country for some target shooting/hunting...

my first question is that I sent in my papers for Restricted this feb, and its april now, does it always take this long? I got my PAL quite soon.

got mine in 34 days to my door,wife sent her in same day (feb 2/08) she's still waiting but she checked online (which you can do) and its in the mail, she's on day almost 60ish, and by the way her last name starts with a T and mines an S, but on friday i brought my new to me p99 home
 
i really liked the P99, it was so light. What kind do you have, as in DAO,DA/SA, QA or AS ?

if and when I do get my restricted its either gonna be a P99 or a Seyr MA1. I prefer striker fired.
 
welcome to the site. make sure that you give them your new address also.you don`t want them to send your paper to BC if your not going to be there.
 
Now a suggestion for ammunition..... along with some target loads get a few boxes of JHP's [jacketed hollow points] just to keep on hand...... :cool:
