Learned this was the place to be. Mainly will be interested in researching and maybe eventually purchasing historical pieces, but also left eye dominant so looking into modern technologies or if I should just use an eye patch.

Welcome DarkAries, Southpaw and LH dominant here too, with the good fortune to have a left handed muzzleloader, and the wherewithall to use most right handed rifle and shotgun setups. I sure hate those cross bolt safeties though.

I've seen guys with left eye dominance issues use a piece of scotch tape on there shooting glasses.
