So completely green shooter, like dip the grass in lime jello green. I've fired maybe a dozen shots in my life, took the Non-Restricted and Restricted courses purely out of boredom, I wanted a reason to get out of the house on my days off and learning how to shoot fit in with my mind set that if I'm going to learn something it might as well be useful as well as fun.

Not really a hunter might give it a shot sometime down the road, but target shooting looks like fun. So I've been looking at various .22 pistols and was looking at the Walther P22 and PPK/S 22 when I saw this a link for the Walther Arms tactical rimfire replicas and I was intrigued but I'm not sure how they fit in within the current non-restricted/restricted regulations.

Other then that, Hi.

The P22 is fine. The PPK would be a prohib unless it had an extended barrel ( + 4.25" iirc )

Use the search tab to check old forum posts for the P22 and check the reviews before you pick one up. Otherwise a Ruger Mk 1,2, or 3 is a great start.
