Ive seen alot of budget builds that i want to start. Mainly i cant seem to source out these parts in canada such as m1 rear sight, usgi parts, national match, and a unitizing gas cylinder parts. If there is something else that would be good to put on a stock m14 let me know.

Thanks

And this would be going into a norinco

armtac
or from us suppliers permitted to export such as brownells and treelinem14 .com
a unitized gas cylinder would not be easy to find. maybe the ee from time to time.
the only guy I know that was offering that service is retired :D

Without getting everyone's panties in a fluff about the cap, Treeline can send quite a bit at one time. I've placed some orders that were several hundred bucks.

Yeah I've heard its hard to get gun parts over the border with out paper work and I've also heard there was a price cap, thanks for clearing that up. Any other us online stores that are good to ship into canada?

"...price cap to what you can import..." More about exporting firearm parts on the U.S. restricted for export list. The U.S. has recently decided we aren't selling firearms etc to terrorists so they upped the max value that can be exported. However, if the box/paperwork says M-14 on it, it's illegal to export without the U.S. Dept of State permit. The manufacturer must have a U.S. Commerce Dept exporter's licence for any part too. So if you mention M-14, it'll be stopped at the border by U.S. Homeland Security. If the box/paperwork says M1A on it, everything is fine.
None of this will get you in any kind of trouble though. Just the seller. You just won't get the parts and will very likely lose your money.
Both Brownell's and Treeline should tell you upon ordering if they can export the part. Your order isn't worth losing their business over.
