Well, not the whole case, just the neck. Have been doing pistol reloading for a while, but the rifle version is new to me. Must have forgotten to lube the inside of the neck on one piece of brass, cuz the neck is now firmly stuck up inside my Lee .308 sizer die. Followed instructions with wrench and hammer to remove the obstruction, but no luck. Any ideas other than mailing the die back to Lee or Andrew Higginson for expert removal?

With only the neck stuck, the method in the video won't work.
If you remove the nut and expander, can you put some penetrating oil in, then drive the neck out with a wooden dowel?
Dies are very hard, wood shouldn't mark the die.

After being in the freezer awhile ,push in a .308 bronze brush on a cleaning rod and just after it clears the mouth of the case pull back it will/may drag the case out.

Thanks for the advice - tried the approved method with no luck, ended up taking the thing apart and sticking a punch against the wall of the die and hammering - finally it popped out. Hopefully I didn't screw the thing up for future use. I really like the freezer idea though and will bear it in mind for future difficulties :)

I found the best way to prevent having a stuck case was to buy a stuck case remover.
Put it in a box with all your size dies so they understand that you can quickly and easily fix the problem, and as long as you lube most of your cases it'll all be good from then on.

:D :D :D Since I've bought mine I haven't had a single stuck case! Maybe the dies have all heard the message.
