Newbie needing 9mm info

Fairly new on this site and new to pistols. Looking to buy a 9mm. Was looking at the M&P but after lots of reading on here a Glock is also an option.I’m also looking at putting a red dot and possibly a light. Which is the best red dot and light? Are the lights easily removed? Which gun is the easiest to find stuff for? Which holster is the best? Just looking for something to carry it in at the range and to protect it during storage and transport. Thanks

I was where you are at now about a year. I wanted a good gun but I didn’t want pay the big bucks as I wasn’t looking at competition only target. I read reviews and ended up picking up a Smith & Wesson SD9VE. I shot the first 50 rounds and thought I made a big mistake. I took others advice and bought the APEX trigger and spring kit which got rid of 10% trigger travel and dropped the trigger pull to 2 lb. this was a night and day difference. Unfortunately I have only been to the range twice since which is why it’s up for sale on “Equipment Exchange”. A lot of shooters aren’t happy with M&P for the trigger pull and some like the crisp response. Do your homework and spend some time renting some guns at your nearby range
