Hi all !

Skullboy noticed me about this forum. Many thanks for that !!!

I have bought 2 Norincos M14S from Canada (i live in Sweden). In Sweden I might be one of few, if not the only one with this kind of rifle. So with no one to ask there have been a lot of trial and error for me. This is my guns...

Norinco M14S number 1:

USGI stock (I have bedded it) bought from Fred´s in USA.
Smith Enterprises US-coastguard flashider.
Super sniper 10x42.

This gun is very tricky about what ammo I use. At 100 meter the worst ammo shoots (S&B) around 3-4 inches. But with my handloads (7,62 Nato-brass) Sierra Match 168 gr, Norma 202-powder 41,5 gr - the gun shoots 5 rounds at 1 inch at 100 meter (110 yards).

Number 2:

A USGI birch stock - tigerstriped. It is bedded but it is hard to match the stiffnes of the syntetic stock. USGI flashider.

Very pleased to be here. This place seems to be the my future source of info.

Best Regards

Thanks all :dancingbanana:

I used to have a Super Sniper 10x42 on this one. But the wild-hog hunting season begins and then this Leupold 1-4x20 is better for the job. It is a damn good rifle bought from Rodger at Dark International trading company. He helped me out with tons of paperwork befor shipping overseas.

flecktarn: Now that we mods have been getting you hooked into the addiction, how about hooking us up with some cute single Swedish chix? Just jokin with ya !!

Glad that we are helpful. Do you have your 2004 Abbotsford Clinic CD set to see what Skullboy and I really look like ? Well maybe you should not see what I look like, but he's better looking that I am. LOL

When I visit forum abroad they all talk about those swedish girls :p Well, I must admit that our girls are pretty. But I did marry a german girl...heheh.

That CD seems interesting. I have learned that the M14 is a tricky rifle. You must treat it right and if it not shoot well there might be 10 things that are the cause. It took me 1 year to get the rifle on the picture to shoot so well as it does now.

I bought the book: "The complete M14 assembly guide". But a CD with tips and hints might be something to buy as well.
