HI Guys & Gals,
I'm in the process of putting a order to Budget Shooters Supply.
So here's what I have in my shopping cart:
2 x Sierra 30c(.308)155gr PALMA HPBT BULLET MATCHKING 100/bx
1 x Hodgdon VARGET 1lb Smokeless Powder
1 x Hodgdon H4895 8lb Smokeless Powder KEG (budget shooters supply only have 8lb in stock )
1 x CCI PRIMER 200 LARGE RIFLE 1000/box
Now my question is how many rounds can a 1lb of powder load? ( I'm guessing if I was to multiply the answer by 8 to get the 8lb results)
My recipe from my reloading book calls for 44.4 gr of the H4895 powder.
The rifle: Rem 700 XCR LRT (.308)
Brass: Norma 308 Winchester
thanks
