Newbie question about choice of .22 handgun

I'm with you - If I had the patience and the dough, I would wait for a new S&W 41. It's in a class by itself. That CZ is surely nice, but a target pistol it is not.

I've seen a couple 41s on the EE lately. I'd get me a used one to play with in the meantime, and flip it whenever your new one arrives. They really hold their value, so I don't think you'd lose much if anything at all.

If you're short on patience, I believe Prophet River can buy one for you from a retailer in the states and import it for a reasonable fee.

Thanks. Prophet River, they are good. I bought my browning there last year.
I will wait though. One year or two, does not matter to me. I prabably will just keep it unfired, when it comes, for the next generation to enjoy that type of classic.

Now THAT'S restraint!! No way would I be able to let something like that sit unused:D

Future generations will surely thank you, though!

I have the GSG 1911 .22 and I love it. It feels great, and shoots awesome. Has been a little finicky with cheapest ammo but the better high velocity stuff has been good. Highly recommend it.

GSG here as well and I've had good luck with lots of ammo including subsonics. I posted a video on it some where in here. Its great if your into 1911's or just want a fun pistol to shoot.
