I just purchased a mec loader for 12 ga from a guy on here. Where can I get a book and components for loading. Wads, hulls, and steel and lead shot. Thanks in advance

Good question, I am also looking for similar information.
Where is a good place to purchase shotgun reloading supplies in Canada? All the searches I did resulted in suppliers from the US. Here there are suppliers, but I have yet to find one that sells hulls, primers, wads, shot, and powder all together.
Where does everyone get their info and supplies?

Lawry's and/or Hummason in Ontario are the largest shotshell reloading suppliers in Canada
Otherwise supplies are inconsistently stocked here and there.
Specialized supplies like Ballistics Products are available from Will Bilozir who has tables at many of the gun shows in the West.

Hummasons

Henry's prices are out to lunch these days. I used to spend thousands annually with him, now I don't bother looking at his webpage.

Hummasons looks great. I couldn't find any hulls on his site, wondering if he has them, as he seems to have everything else.

Check out the EE for those.

Decide which hull you want to use before deciding on a wad, etc.

AA's are generally around $.06-.09 each.

Hummasons has a price list on their website, I was there last week, picked up 20 gauge wads, primers and lead shot. For powder you need to let them know a day in advance as they don't carry stock. Also later picked up the lyman shotshell reloading handbook 5th edition from bass pro.

I definitely second the Lyman Shotshell Reloading Manual 5th Edition. Got mine at Wholesale Sports. Excellent section on single stage loading using the MEC machines. Follow the advice above - hulls, wads, primers and powder are NOT interchangeable - you have to select a recipe and use those exact components. There is no way for home loader to gauge the pressure in shot shells - have to follow the published recipes exactly - brand of hull, brand of wad, brand of primer, amount and exact type of powder.

Have you tried the Saskatoon Gun Club, they might bring in bulk components to resell to members?

He has the ability for you to order stuff online as well but I seriously advise against it: shipping costs that he charges are very high. I ordered online from him once... paid $30.00 for shipping on a $120.00 order and the shipping cost on the box said $10.50. I only buy from him by prepaying and picking up when he comes to a gun show in Edmonton or Red Deer.

Other suggestions are better options if you have to ship.
