Sorry if this has been discussed already.

I really really want to learn the art of reloading.
I would like to reload 223, 303, 45-70.

Should I buy a kit?
If so , which one is the best/informative for a newbie? (no reloaders around here)

Buying a kit gives you everything you need less dies and shellholder at once. You'll need 3 sets of dies and a shell holder for the cartridges you want to reload.
Go buy a copy of The ABC's of Reloading(your local gun shop) and have a look at the RCBS Beginner's Kit(About $500Cdn. There are other makes too, but RCBS' warrantee is unbeatable for the price). You'll need a solid bench too.
 
I got the 35th Anniversary Lee kit and I found that it had ALMOST everything I needed. The only cons of the kit were, IMHO:

- I hate the lee scale, but many people like it.
- It comes with a trimmer and base for the electric screwdriver, but no spindle for calibers, you'll have to order those on your own.
 
I like the lee stuff,I have a couple of them and they may not be the the very best on the market but bang for buck they are there,I agree the scale does feel cheep but it weighs right on.

If all you want to load is rifle than the Anniversary kit is the way to go, you will get alot of the little things that you might otherwise overlook.

by the anniversary kit but with the classic cast not the challenger press. The linkage on the challenger is alluminum not steel.mine would only hold together for about 4000 rounds or so. I broke two. The classic cast is perhaps 30 bucks more but will last a lifetime. If you are only loading a few hundred a year the challenger press would last a lifetime to.
