I purchased a new shogun through the EE from a gentlemen that I am sure is a great guy to normally do business with and I am not here to bash anyone. After sending my money (I did receive the gun) it has been 25 days and no registration transfer. I have asked (kindly) 3 times over this period and nothing.

Looking for help on what I can do...can I call the CFC myself to have it transferred?

Is it possible he lent it to you and now you must call in to complete the transfer? Did he give you a reference # for when you call them? I think selling an unregistered firearm on this site is a no-no.....
 
You can initiate the transfer if you have the reg cert #, serial number and the sellers PAL # and name... BUT he will still have to complete the transfer at his end. What (if any) contact info do you have for this guy?

Not to get preachy... but never send money without getting a full name, city, province, and at least a phone number that works.

I have been waiting for this guy to send me the confirmation number for the transfer
 
Got the CFC involved and gave the seller a deadline...all this because he has been unable to find 5 minutes in his day over the past 29 days. This is a guy who uses this forum to sell and of course repeat sell. If he misses the deadline everyone will be able to read about it in the "CGN Dealers List" forum.

And I will not be happy if my hand is forced to do this
