Newbie Reloader! Where can I get Bullets and Federal Primers, cheap?

They keep leading us on. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

Last year the Amereicans hoarded and the Canadian distributors couldn't get enough. Now the Canadian's are buying as fast as the distributors get them. My bet is it will level inself off about August 2010 and once again there will be lots of primers.

Just like the last primer shortage.

I hope Lebaron restocks soon. I bought 10k of CCI small pistol for ~28 plus taxes per 1k box. That was in late summer I think. I have about 5k left. I need more. Out of almost 5k fired, i only had one bad primer.

Lebaron is still out, and they said the price will probably be higher when they get new stock.

We currently have a fairly large inventory of primers (including some Federal) and at present we don't limit reasonable purchase volumes. We buy primers from whoever has them in stock and this often means we pay more for them than we expected. We just did our Federal booking order and although we placed a large order for primers, our factory rep was not confident we would would see the shipment anytime soon. Phil.

Hmmmmm , I guess it just depends on who you know , I just bought 10 boxes (1000 to a box) there yesterday The reason for the WSS ration is that a bunch of americans were going to come over and clean us out and take them back to the US (this is what I was told by WSS) If you talk nice you can get more , also just bought a case of small pistol and small rifle for a friend. Had no trouble getting it. I haven't found any shortage yet , first i've heard of it .

I was just at WSS - Edmonton south looking for a 12ga shotgun slug mold....which they are sold out of of course.....and a bag of Hickory chips for my soon to be finished home made smoker. I have plenty of primers for my needs for a few years, but I just thought I'd ask anyway......As of today (Sat Feb 27), both of the WSS stores in Edmonton are out of large rifle and large magnum rifle. Stock levels by any manufacturer are exactly zero right now. If you live in/around Edmonton, head down to P&D to get some real service.
