Newbie storage question - unrestricted

OK another dumb storage question
for unrestricted firearms would it be sufficient to have a trigger lock and the gun in a stackon gun cabinet that's locked and bolted to wall in a closet? Or, do you really need to lock the closet door as well? The better half will kill me if I lock up her walkin

Storage:

Non-restricted firearms

• Attach a secure locking device, such as a trigger
lock or cable lock (or remove the bolt) so the
firearms cannot be fired; or
• Lock the firearms in a container or room that
is hard to break into.

your fine with the trigger lock or the locked cabinet. you dont need both for non restricted.

Also, you can store the ammunition in the same locked container as the firearm.
