newbie to the forum

Hey
New to the forum, still trying to figure out the ins and outs
understand the rules etc
a fellow i've known for years suggested i join.....
so i did :)

I usually don't join forums or clubs that would have me as a member hehehe
i've had long guns since the 70's but i just stepped into a restricted license
well, because one day i won't be allowed to :)
the restricted course didn't give a lot of insight into actually owning and maintaining a handgun so i'm TRYING to hit the ground running

do i have to ask permission to post in the forums or are just some of them restricted until you get approved?

Hello I just joined and in the same boat as you my friend also recommended this heard good things, I believe there's steps we need to do before we are invited.
