A couple things to help you out:
1) There are some grumpy people on the forum... don't let them get to you.
2) Get familiar with searching questions and reading threads, the search function on here isn't great, but it'll help you find answers to most questions as almost everything to do with guns has been discussed somewhere
3) Get access to the Off Topics section and Equipment Exchange. Off topics is funny and the EE is amazing.... but you'll be poor after visiting it... everything you can imagine and more, all for the price of your bank account
