Hello. I'm sure I will get chastized for not searching enough, but I am thinking i would like to start learning about reloading. Ammo price, old caliber availability, and lack of +p choices in canada being my motivation. Can anyone point me to some resources for basics? quality equipment that does the job well without breaking the bank etc... YouTube videos, websights. Where to start researching.

Welcome
Check out the site sponsors for equipment.
There will be a range of prices of course then do some searches for threads and online reviews.
I've been reloading with a single stage Lee press, for rifle calibers, for almost 20yrs and it's been great.
I started with simple equipment and haven't felt the need to upgrade too much.
You may want a progressive system if you want to load handgun calibers. That's my next purchase.
Some of my favorite sponsors are
Budget Reloading supplies
Prophet River Outfitters
Tenda
Tillsonburg
Bullseye
Just a few off the top of my head but there's many more great sponsors here.
