"...odd ball left hand shooters..." Hi. Nothing odd about it. They're the odd ones.
Listened to a militia plug, long ago, prattle on to his buddy how it was impossible to shoot a C1A1 left. Asked him how I managed to shoot expert with one left handed. A great deal of mumbling ensued. "Well, it's hard." says he. The rifle has all the operating levers and handles on the left side of the reciever.
Left handed bolt actions usually need to be ordered though.
"...you can never have too many guns right???..." Right, but they're big kid's toys. Children can own an evil, violence causing, hockey stick, but not a civilised, non-violent, firearm.

Hello and welcome. My wife was left-handed. She wasn't heavily involved with guns and shooting, but did it with me from time to time and enjoyed being good at it. She operated all the right-handed guns without ever saying anything about it, and could regularly hit things she was aiming at. I suppose left-handed people just sort of get used (more or less) to living in a right-handed world. It's not the same as having to operate the bolt on a rifle, but the old Walther military pistols eject to the left, and it never seemed to bother all those right-handed shooters excessively. The one that bothered us both (and others, I suspect) was the Beretta wartime pistol, which ejected straight up and back. Ejected casings kept hitting us in the forehead. When I had the opportunity to ask J. B. Wood, the outstanding pistol and Beretta expert how to fix that, his answer was, "Wear a cap with a bill." Enjoy the site.

thanks for the welcomes everyone :)
Most of my guns are right handers learn growing up how to shot both r&L but prefer to shoot left more comfort in it :) but have 2 that are leftys lol my hubby wont touch them (hahaha)
plus my papa used to always say" he who shoots left is a pretty darn talented shooter " lol
I still think hes right ;)

welcome fellow CGN newbie...sure nice to see women involved! Hoping I may one day get my wife`s interest...in shooting that is!!

outdoorwoman, you and I, are at least in our collective "Right mind". Lotsa of left handed guns out there for you and I, the only one I can't seem to figure out is the Sig pistol, I usually use my trigger finger on a pistol to push down the slide release, but the Sig has them way too far back for that to work. Welcome, have a good time.
