Hello, I am a semi-retired country living sport shooting and reloading enthusiast. I enjoy the study of ballistics and anything associated with the burning of gunpowder. I am new to CGN and I would certainly appreciate help in finding my way around. I am logged under my name, should I get a "handle" type of a name? Is that what the blank space under "title" is waiting for on this page or "separate tags" for that matter? I would be happy to phone anyone in Canada who would be willing to show me around, thanks, Harold

As for your name, it's so long since I signed up her I can't remember all the details, but my understanding is that "harold peters" is now the "handle" you're stuck with. However, from various threads, I believe it's possible to have it changed, but you'll need to contact a Moderator to do so. The mod for this forum is "tootall", and you'll see his name in the Welcome sticky, or top thread in this greeting & intro forum. You should be able to send him a private message by clicking on his name where you see it in blue letters.

Again, welcome, and here's my standard pitch: we need every gun owner in Canada to support changes to the existing gun laws. The best ways to do that are to join and donate to the CPC, the NFA, and CSSA. Click the blue links in my signature line for more info.

I just got introduced to this website from a guy at the Northside Edmonton Wholesale sports. I was asking about an over/under rifle/shotgun and he suggested I try here. I saw one the other day, about 20 years old and made by BRNO. I can't find any in the catalogues but if someone made a .308 on top and say, a 20 gauge on the bottom, I know I'd be interested.

2nd thing, I recently bought a Falcon Menace 5.5 - 18 X 56 tactical scope. I am planning on mounting it on a 7mm Rem Mag Sendaro. The website has been down for the last few months and I am hoping that this United Kingdom company did not go out of business. Anyone have experience with Falcon Optics or know anything about the company? It seems like a pretty good scope and I've read some good reviews on the internet. I bought mine from a dealer in Prince Albert, Sask. and will also be checking back with him too.
