Newby Hunter ??

I have got my hunter number card now where do I go to get my tags and hunting permits?

Not dumb at all - really they should have covered that in the course.

Did you take CORE here, or did you transfer from another province? Just curious.

To answer your question, most sporting goods stores sell them. (some hardware places used to, that's more rare). There's a couple of good ones in langley, and they'll sell you your license and tags. Because they make NO money off of this, bring cash if you can - they hate it when you use interac as it costs them a fee and they lose money.

I also always make a point of buying something else - even something small. Just to say thanks for all the hard work they do with licenses for which they get not a dime.
 
Thanks Foxer yes I did get my CORE in Langley from Gary, just forgot what he had said.:D
I'll get the license from Mike @ SSS and pick up some ammo or better yet another :shotgun:

I could never understand why this is the case. I believe that this is true in most of the Provinces. Someone once gave me a :bsFlag: story about how it brings business in for the place selling the license/tags. Anyway I don't agree with the practice.

Quite true. And it's entirely hunting-centric, so lots of good tips and tricks there.
