So, at the range one of the guys gave me a bunch of 40 S&W rounds he found, reloads that someone did not like we figure.

I pulled them apart with (about 60 of them) got rid of the powder, not sure if I am going to try to use the brass and primer, and got the bullets out.

They are copper plated (I figure) truncated cone. I weighed all of them, and got a range from 188.4 grains to 195.7 grains. So 190 grains?

Would you reuse the brass/primer, and the bullets? Or should I consider that I have now got experience with my kinetic bullet puller?

Nothing wrong with the brass and primers. Chuck everything else.
I don't load for pistol, so I can't say much about the difference in bullet weights.

Before you do anything check the cases over very carefully , looking for anything bulging ,split or not right, if it seems okay. Then You can reuse the primed brass but you should resize it which means running it through a resizing die that doesn't have a depriming pin in it. It also needs to be slightly belled with a die that doesn't have a depriming pin in it( different die companies have the depriming done in different dies). You can reuse the bullets if they can be crimped solidly in the case but they may not be BULLSEYE MATCH quality but they will make good plinking loads. BUT YOU WERE WISE TO BREAK THEM DOWN , YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY WERE TOSSED OUT OR WHAT THE POWDER OR CHARGE IS OR WAS.

Yes, reuse it all except the powder. Bullets might not be match quality but I would use them unless they are really damaged. Not 190 gr. but 195 gr. is the max. If your going to reload all those bullets with the same loads of powder use the data for a 195 gr. or 200 gr. bullet. Brass and primers - take a good look at a few looking down the mouth to see if maybe the primer hole was drilled or something silly. If no problems I would use them and like Bearman said make sure your depriming pin is removed from your sizing die (should be easy to remove). I would also assume that they could be magnum primers and wouldn't be using max loads.

Take the powder and dispose of properly by putting it all in a pile and tossing a match on it! Aww... look at all the pretty colours! Outside of course! :)

And yes you have got some good experience with the kinetic bullet puller! ;)
