Depending on the twist I expect not too much of a speed drop. I do suspect it will be a tack driver though.

thanks all, fell in love with the ultra lux when i read about it.

I imported it from michigan, PITA process.. i think i paid 440 taxes in for the rifle.

Now, it will almost certainly be less accurate than a shorter barreled equivalent CZ 452/453 due to barrel whip, BUT... you'll love it for shooting subsonics. Shot a Cooey in about the same barrel length with subsonics, dead quiet. Makes the muzzle blast of most .22 very minimal too, in fact quite comfortable shooting without hearing protection.

Nice thing about that rifle is the gophers jumping out of their holes will knock themselves out on your barrel.
