On a side note, I love the look of metal on wood. It's just something about it. But if I was going to build an all around rig slash tack driver. Hands down, M14Doctor hand made stock or McMillan Tactical M2A fiberglass stock is the only way to go. Now if you want a bench shooter, nothing say's PING! like a JAE-100 G2. As for Sage & Troy well they take top mark for the cool factor in my mind.

Well, in my mind, the Troy stock can be improved. If I owned it, there would be a version 2. It's about time.
The M14 E2 is a classic, but not something that I would enjoy owning or shooting.
The M14 deserves to be recognized for the rifle that it is, a modern battle rifle, a prepper's hunting rifle, a value-oriented everyman's rifle in a calibre that is hard to criticize on any level but weight and that for me, is not enough. This is the VW Bug of rifles.

i hate hinting and leading folks on but soon i'll be revolutionizing the m14 aluminum chassis world ( at least in my mind anyways ). We will be taking delivery of equipment in december and start making the first few availlable once the machines have warmed up. i will not elaborate on the product nor the time line but the planets are finally lining up to make this a reality. This is an endeavor i have been pursuing for close to 5 years since i penned my original blueprint. Much has changed since then. A feature no one has even thought of in the rifle stock world will be revealed and i'm betting the reaction is gonna be holy crap i must have one of those hehehe . This stock will be EBR length, standard rear sight capable, standard and long eye relief optic compatable and i'll say no more.
In the meantime, those liking what they see with regards to my 3 custom fiberglass variants, can submit a standard usgi fiberglass stock for modifications. email me with questions on that one.
