Newly Manufacted American Made 858's

I wonder how they can build them in the States. I thought something like 60% of all parts including the reciever on a gun had to be manufactured in the States for it to be legal to sell there or something to that effect?

Its a points system.
20 point let's just say.
Us made grip. 1
Us made hammer 1
Us made stock 3.
Us made frame in semi auto 15 point.
Non us made semi shotguns are the same. But less points
Least that's how my US friends explain it.

If they're made on the same tooling in the USA there wouldn't be any difference? From my experience made in the Czech republic / former Czechoslovakia has basically always meant higher quality than made in the USA. From the VZ. 24 to the CZ 75.

While at over $1200, these rifles will probably mostly only appeal to the serious Czech small arms enthusiast

$1200 USD = $2000 CAD when our dealers get a hold of them.

Hmm... I still think I'd take the Czech manufactured one for $699 CAD, since it's essentially the same gun. If only the whole "prohib" fiasco went away...
