Next Black Badge in Southern Ontario

Does anyone know of any Black Badge courses that are happening in Southern Ontario that still have spots open in the next month or two?

I'm in Essex County but have friends/relatives that I could stay with for any courses in the GTA or KW-London corridor.

Nothing at Windsor Action?? I thought they offered them fairly frequently.

There was supposed to be one in February but it got cancelled due to low enrollment. Arrgh!!!

Black Badge course

The fastes way to get on an IPSC Ontario Black Badge course is to fill in the form on the IPSC Ontario we site at http://www.ipsc-ont.org/bb_app.htm

If they get enough names from a given area they could easily get a course going at a club in that area.

Can I expect to improve my marksmanship through this course?
If I recalled correct, it will take 3 days for completing the BB course. Am I correct?

Marksmenship, isn't the main goal of the course. The course teaches safe practical shooting fundamentals, holster work, and firearm manipulation. A certain amount of marksmenship is part of the package but not the key point. To pass the drills you must get A zone hits within a certain time frame. At the end of the course a new shooter will have a more refined skill set then someone who just picked a gun up but if you're looking for Bulleye competition marksmenship this is not the course.
