What's with that red turret cover thing on some Nightforce scopes? Is it just a protective cover? I bought an ATACR and it didnt have one. Is it because I'm not part of the inner circle?

The nightforce condom? Does it not just mark which scopes have the zero stop function?

I have a Nightforce B.E.A.S.T. and an SHV. Neither of them have the red thingy and both have zero stop or whatever the equivalent is on the SHV.
