Hey Guys;

My cousin is looking to book a NFLD grand slam next fall, Caribou/Moose/Black Bear...

Rather than relying on Google, I'm hoping you guys can provide some personal insight into reputable outfitters?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers
Jay

There’s an outfitter that runs out of Deer Lake, he has 5 camps.
I’ll get his info and pass it along to you , if you want.

One thing to consider is many outfitters will sell you a “stumble on” black bear tag for a few hundred but unless you truly stumble on a bear to shoot they do not actually allow you to go hunting specifically for bears as they feel if stirs up the more desirable moose or caribou as the case may be.

I’m not sure which outfitters have these policies other than one or two I read about, but a friend and fellow CGNer had this issue on a hunt he and his friend took a few years ago.

All this to say make sure it is clear what your expectations are with the outfitter. Also make sure he takes lots of pictures to show us. NFLD is on my list.
