Hey guys thought I'd do a little show and tell. I had originally taken a blind leap and pre-ordered the made in Canada NiB BCGs. Let's just say I was less than impressed with the results. The machining was craptacular, the NiB did not look at all as I had expected and the gas key would hang up on the gas tube. Needless to say I was rather pissed. After several attempts I was finally able to get a hold of Richard and explained the situation. To his credit he did offer a full refund or an exchange for the Gen 2 US made BCGs...needing them for two new builds I opted for the latter.

While I can't to a full review on the units since I haven't had a chance to shoot yet, I can comment on the appearance. The GEN 2's look nothing like what I was originally sent. The difference is night and day. Test fitment was ok and the only thing remaining is some actual function testing. I will definitely post a review once I get a chance to shoot later this week. In the meantime here are a few pics of the new BCGs.

I would not give them the time of day let alone any of my money.

It's a shame to talk about that company. They screwed around to many people.

Forget about them and spend your money on dealers that take care of their customers.

Don't spend money there. Don;t forget what happened to all the other customers.

This x2 dead zombies talked so much game about all the cool gear they were going to carry...after reading about their fiasco im shocked I even received my mags.

Might look nice, but until it's tested with live rounds, cycling, heat, pressure, etc., looks mean absolutely nothing.
Couple of hundred rounds and then maybe some trust can be put into this BCG. Till then, I'm considering it a gamble.
 
I don't have a horse in this race, but that looks nothing like the pics of garbage shown in other previous threads about these BCG's.

Agreed...im not passing any judgment on the units until I put at a minimum 500-600 rnds downrange. I was just noting that at least the appearance of BCGs has been greatly improved...function remains to be seen
