NiB coating ?

Has anyone had their barrels done with this? I'm curious about wear resistance. I know TiN is the top dog but I'm not sure if the goldish shine would suit my M11-A1.

why, other then for looks i mean? You'll never wear out your barrel even if you try, unless you clean with a stainless steel brush in a hand drill. If its for looks, have at er if that's what turns your crank.

Probably cheaper to buy a SS replacement or aftermarket barrel if you want the looks. What's the average thickness of NiB plating more so for the bore diameter?
