NIB/Cosmo Chinese Military SKS?

Negative. Stamped receivers are rare and were a test run by the military. They even tried cast receivers.

All the rest had milled receivers, whether military or civilian.

The sticky has tons of info.
I'm having a hard time finding the sticky explaining the difference in Chinese SKS's. Found lots of info on Russian though. So can someone point me in the right direction of explaining military Chinese SKS's. Thanks

How can one tell a military one apart from a civilian one?

Military rifles usually have an Arsenal mark (Triangle with a number inside) and often three Chinese Characters denoting the model (Type 56) - Most civilian models are devoid of these two markings and just have a serial number.

Another difference is stock - Usually military are made with a darker/harder jungle wood and have the serial number stamped on the stock. Most civilian rifles have a lighter/soft wood and do not have a serial number stamped on the stock.

I sadly came across 1x stamped receiver but the receiver was cut :(
