Nice B&W Video.

Very Cool! :)

Question... Did the Swiss start using the "Splinter w/ Yellow Worms" Zeltbahn (Quarter shelter/Poncho) during WW2, or only after? I have some, and just curious if it would be period correct for a Swiss WW2 display?

Wow, nice video of Swiss (?) soldiers shooting. What machine gun is that ?

I would love to see a similar video of Swiss rifles being used.

Those rifles seem to be M1911 long rifles.
Must be a reserve unit. Not too many 18-20 year old looking faces in that unit.

I'm more of a shooter and don't get into the uniforms very much.
Posted your question on the Swiss Rifle Message board wher you should get a correct answer.

Very, very doubtful(in town). More likely into his field or hill or mountain.
Misbehavior could land him under military justice system.
August 1st is Swiss National Day. Must have something to do with it.

if you check the pattern on them. some will be Swiss others will be WWII German . the Swiss used both and the pattern is almost identical.
